Siding, Soffit and Fascia
Siding is doing two jobs at once. It is most of what your house looks like from the street, and it is the layer keeping weather off the structure behind it. When it cracks, chalks or comes loose, the second job is the one that costs you.
The eaves are where it starts
Almost every rotted siding job we open up started at the overhang. Fascia takes the runoff, soffit takes the wind-driven rain, and both of them sit behind a gutter that has usually been neglected for a decade. We finish the overhang properly while we are up there rather than putting new siding against wood that is already going.

Siding replacement
Full elevations or the side the weather actually hit. Matched to what is there when you are doing part of the house.
Siding repair
Storm damage, a run of cracked panels, a section pulled loose. Not every job needs the whole house.
Soffit and fascia
Including the framing behind it. If the sub-fascia is soft, replacing the visible board alone just hides it for a couple of years.
Done with the windows
Siding and windows meet at the same trim. Doing them on separate visits means paying twice to open the same detail, so if new windows are on your list this is the one to bundle with them.
